NMMU LONDON ALUMNI EVENT ... Present at the London Alumni event in September was Achumile Majija BCom’05, Nicholas Druiff BCom’97, Jeanne Horak-Druiff LLB’92 and Dominic Lagan BComHons’99 who also represented event sponsor Old Mutual.
Guest speaker at the event was Nick Graham BComHons’01 MA’03 who is the Global Director for Digital Marketing of Huawei. London remain a popular work experience destination for our alumni.
BOK BANTER 2015 ... The Vodacom NMMU Indoor Sports Centre hosted some of NMMU’s most famous South African rugby alumni for a once-in-a-lifetime legacy event – the Madibaz Bok Banter in Port Elizabeth during September. Attending the event were Bernard Petersen, Zola Yeye, Mark Tommy and Sphiwo Maqanda.
REFLECTIONS 2015 ... Alumni celebrate diversity and NMMU’s 10th anniversary with an annual Reflections Event. Present at this year’s NMMU Alumni gathering at the diversity months function was Paul Geswindt (Director: Alumni), Prof Japie Engelbrecht (former UPE Alumni President) and Dr Randall Jonas (current NMMU Alumni Association President).
EAST LONDON SOCIAL EVENT ... This year’s annual Alumni social was held at the East London Golf Club with close to 50 alumni and friends attending. Present at the event were Grant Skinnette, Babalwa Jozana and Cedric Jonkers.
