Change the world

Welcome back! Alumni Relations Office (ARO) staff appreciate visits by our alumni to their alma mater.  Some alumni arrange to meet the staff or even just pop-in when in the vicinity. Post our Covid-19 experiences and more than two years of not engaging in person, these visits are welcomed.
Some of the visits presented photo opportunities and included visits by former Alumni Association Executive Committee member Andrew Binning (MS Inkanyezi Events) gifting us with a book, alumnus and former University Shop Manager Baakier Abrahams (Professional Cricket Coach) and updated on career developments, alumnus Marc Johnson who appears in the Roadtrip article who presented to students, Dr Tajudeen Sanni (Uganda based academic) returning for academic work and  Alumni award recipient Parmi Natesan (CEO of the Institute of Directors) who visited the city with her family and visited the Engineering faculty.
Other visits included alumna Ziyanda Mavumengwana who came to launch her book, Delon Le Roux who works in South Korea and shared his international working experience with students, former Alumni Association Executive Committee member Adv Thanduxolo Nkala who popped in after a meeting on campus, alumna Nelisani Njezula from PPS who presented to our Student Alumni Society (SAS),  alumnus and Herald Citizen of the Year recipient Isaac Metembo who came to attend a meeting and former SAS Chairperson Luvo Cakwebe with some current SAS members who came to inform us about his new job. These are some of our visitors and the reason for their visit.
