They are testimony to the ability of our graduates to achieve in leading cities and countries around the world. Representatives from the SA High Commission in London, the Donald Woods Foundation, Action for Southern Africa, the Canon Collins Trust and a number of supporters of the University also joined the Mandela University alumni at the function.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Sibongile Muthwa proposed that with the support of alumni and friends, Mandela University would like to establish a presence in London to enable a stronger university support system as well as ongoing capacity to engage with alumni, friends and current and future funders.
This very well attended event also offered an opportunity for alumni and friends of the University to network with each other. All were in agreement that a UK Alumni Chapter should be formalised.
