2022 Alumni Awards Nominations Now Open!

27/07/2022

Nelson Mandela University Alumni Association invites our alumni and academic and support departments to nominate alumni top performers for the 2022 Alumni Achiever and Rising Star Awards to acknowledge individuals who have made their mark locally, nationally and internationally in their various disciplines and sectors.

Since the introduction of the awards in 2010, forty-five Achiever and forty-four Rising Star Awards were conferred on our alumni from across the globe. Our alumni are making a difference as corporate leader, entrepreneurs, public servants, change agents, innovators, environmentalists, health practitioners and scientists, leading legal minds, educators and sport and arts stars. Many alumni are leading the way in Changing the World! Nominate fellow alumni who are true role models, great Nelson Mandela University ambassadors and leaders in their disciplines and fields of interest.

We kindly request that all nominations clearly state how nominees meet the award category criteria as indicated in the policy document and that sufficient supporting evidence be submitted with the enclosed relevant nomination forms.

Please read the Alumni Awards policy document carefully and submit the relevant nomination forms by due date Friday 19 August 2022. The documents can be found on https://alumni.mandela.ac.za

A full list of award recipients and the relevant documents can be found on our website https://alumni.mandela.ac.za/Notable-Alumni/Alumni-Awards

Enquiries and nominations on the prescribed forms can submitted to alumniawards@mandela.ac.za

We look forward to your nominations.
