Acclaimed paediatric cardiologist and former Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, the late Professor Lungile Pepeta, celebrated media personality, Noxolo Grootboom, and struggle stalwart and ANC veteran, Sindiso Mfenyana, are among the more than 7 000 graduands who will be awarded their qualifications at Nelson Mandela University’s autumn graduation this month.
The Nelson Mandela University’s autumn graduation 2022 season kicked off in George held at Eden Place, in the Garden Route town on 07 – 08 April with three sessions over the two-day period. During these ceremonies 396 students were awarded their under- and postgraduate qualifications. Of these, five were master’s degrees and six were doctoral.
The Nelson Mandela University Alumni Association was established in accordance with the Higher Education Act, No. 101 of 1997 as a statutory structure and body of alumni of the University.
