Just as the University’s Vice-Chancellor Prof Derrick Swartz pushed himself to summit Mount Fuji in Japan to raise more than R1m, so can those who have completed their first degree dare to also take their careers further.

Furthermore, the recipients will be expected to track and share their experiences during their honours year as a means of giving donors and further insights regarding their investment.

  • Enrol for any Honours qualification in 2016

  • Academically deserving (Minimum average of 60%)
  • Levels of co-curricular activities in undergraduate studies
